Life’s Crosses
We all must
bear our crosses
as through our life we go.
We all have our Good Fridays
that we must undergo.
When pain and death come to us -
as surely as they will,
It helps to look at Jesus,
who there upon that hill
did suffer too, in agony,
and sweat, and bloody tears,
looking down through all the ages,
seeing all our fears.
He says to
us;
"I'm doing this for you, and you, and you
so that you’ll know the wall of death
CAN be broken through.
Because of Me, death can't win,
I've taken away its sting.
I'm going home to heaven
to where the angels sing.
I'm going to prepare a place
for you, and you, and you
so that when you die,
it's not the end.
You'll join Me there.
Forever my friend
