Blessing of the Graves 2025

Sunday 7th September 2025:

St. Alphonsus & Drumully Cemeteries, Connons – after 9.00am Mass

St. Macartan’s Cemetery, Aghadrumsee – after 10.00am Mass

Sacred Heart Cemetery at 2.00pm

Mount St. Oliver Cemetery at 2.00pm

St. Louis Sisters, Round Tower and Abbey Cemeteries will be blessed during Mass at 11.30am and people are invited to bring Holy Water to these cemeteries at any time over the weekend.  

Please bring a bottle of Holy Water to sprinkle your graves at the time of Blessing.

We ask families who have loved ones buried in these cemeteries to take some time to check on their plots and tidy as needed.

When tidying up your family grave, it is an act of kindness to give a neighboring grave a little care and attention if they no longer have anyone to care for them. 

To facilitate pedestrians and motorists, An Garda Síochána will have a one-way traffic system in place.
